In the past five years Sunsetter is responsible for making the general public much more aware of retractable awnings for the home, and every retractable awning manufacturer in the country says, "Thank you Sunsetter Retractable awnings."

Our experience with the product leaves much to be desired. To be fair, 95% of the Sunsetters we see are only the broken ones when someone calls us for service. The disturbing part is that these broken Sunsetter awnings are only three or four years old. Retractable Deck Awnings conclusion, they're just not made for the repetitive use of homeownership. A Sunsetter Retractable Awning may serve well on an RV or motor home but our experience, they don't hold up in home use.
